When I’m uncovering your customer’s story, sound and thorough research is essential combined with the ability to interview at different levels within your customer’s organisation and quickly grasp concepts. My aim is to make sure your customer explains the benefits they’ve experienced and how this has helped them. Being able to quantify these benefits is the ultimate prize – if you can say that your product or service saved money or avoided delay this is what I’ll aim to uncover. The interview stage is critical and I’ll probe for answers whilst being polite and professional.
